Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia is a residential boys' senior secondary school in Purulia, West Bengal, India, established in 1957. It is the developed institute of Ramakrishna's mission. Boys from all cross sections of society, irrespective of caste, creed, and religion are admitted here. The Admission test comprises two phases, Written Test and Interview.

Admission Procedure for Class Vth for Academic Session - (2022-2023).

1. ADMISSION OVERVIEW:

(I) Availability of online application form:-  2nd August 2021, 11 am Onwards

(II) Last date to apply: 30th October 2021, 4pm.

(III) Application Fee:  Rs. 600/- (Rs. 1200/- for Candidates from Manipur) is to be paid ONLINE by 30 October 2021.

(IV) After successful submission of the Application form and payment of the Admission test fees, the ADMIT CARD can be downloaded, immediately.

(V) Written Test (Probable date):- 14.11.2021 (Sunday), 10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

(VI) Result of Written Test:- 23.11.2021 after 1 p.m.

(VII) Interview & Medical Test:- 26.11.2021 and 27.11.2021, from 9:00 a.m.

2. ELIGIBILITY:

a) Qualification: Boys studying in Class IV/V with 60% marks aggregate in the last Annual examination they appeared at, are eligible for test.

b) Age Limit:- 10 to 11 years as on 01.01.2022 (i.e Born between 01.01.2011 & 01.01.2012)

c) Height:- 130 cm to 150 cm

d) Weight - 30 Kg to 50 kg. 

3. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

(i) Birth Certificate

(ii) Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Acknowledgement

(iii) Caste Certificate, if applicable

(iv) Marksheet of the last annual exam.

(v) Passport Size Photograph                      (vi) Signature of Student & Guardian.

5. SUBJECTS OF TE WRITTEN TEST:

6. SUBMISSION OF OTHER DOCUMENTS AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW:

a) Original copy of Character Certificate by the Headmaster/Principal of the present school.

b) Original copy of Medical Certificate by a Registered Medical Practitioner with his Registration Number.

c) Photocopy of Annual income certificate(s) of guardian(s).

d) Passport size colour photographs (2 copies).

7. IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR GUARDIANS AND CANDIDATES:

a) Any information given in the Application form, if subsequently found wrong, may cause expulsion of the candidate.

b) Calculators, Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices or any other communication device or electrical gadgets are not allowed in the examination hall.

c) Financial assistance in the form of several scholarships and stipends are awarded to financially poor students from class V onwards strictly on the basis of merit and good conduct.

d) Vidyapith conducts no coaching / tutorials for the Admission Test Question Papers of the previous years or sample questions papers are also not provided or published.

e) No accommodation in Vidyapith campus will be provided during the tests.
